| Thought i might put up some pictures of my project car. I gather from previous comments that you guys aren't into aggressive styling, but hopefully some will appreciate the rebuild shots! It all starts with a dead piston...

So new motor time, rebuild specs are JUN .272 cams and H/D springs Titanium retainers JUN exhaust cam gears 1mm oversize valves Bronze Valve Guides Cometic Head Gaskets ACL pistons and bearings SCAT rods ARP head and main studs MSP manifolds UAS GT2871R turbo kit Cryo treated crank Shot below shows the head relieved for larger cam lobes
Porting on heads
Everything going together, lots of polishing and note also Ross racing lightweight harmonic balancer
Splitfire coilpacks with chrome brackets and stainless fittings
300 degrees rail with Nismo 740cc injectors. Plennum relieved for easy access to injectors

Turbos fitted up, had to linish the block slightly to accomodate big housings. Very happy with MSP manis and general fitment, managed to reatin factory heat shields with some massaging. Turbo intakes have been heat wrapped, still waiting for MSP to release 2.5" intakes... but these will do in the meantime.

Z1 58mm throttle bodies polished up and installed

Fuel system, using twin walbro in tank pumps to twin filters, twin in/out rails and turbosmart FPR1200 reg

I've had the interior done in black leather (real leather), not going for a show car look, more class.

Intercooler and intake piping... the Plazmaman IC has been pumped to 2.5" in/out, with a combination of Border and custom 60mm intake piping. Using turbosmart recirc valves.
I've since had the FMIC graphite coated. I wanted to black for something a little more subtle, and apparently the graphite based coating will help with heat exchange.
PWR twinpass radiator, 56mm core with built in heat exchanger for oil cooler
Engine installed shots, note this is before I got the FMIC coated and some of the intake pipes polished. Also check out where the battery goes, I have a custom catch can/header tank in one unit. The battery will be reloacted to the boot.
Exhaust; I'm using twin 3" dump pipes, bellmouth design rather than split. These wind around the starter motor and sit up in the transmission tunnel, clearance is excellent. Twin 3" stainless pipes thorugh a UAS x/pipe muffler, and custom rear mufflers with angle cut tips.

Suspension; pics show Bilstein PSS9s installed, tuneagent radius rods, UAS radius rod support brace with ceramic coating, and UAS rear camber arms.

Anyway that's where it's up to so far. Still got brakes, wheels, and some more suspension parts to worry about but well on the way. Oh yeah and offending pic showing carbon fibre bonnet and front mount haha. Front mount is black since this pic, and will be painting the mesh in the nose panel, and the visible FMIC piping black as well.
Anyways enjoy!
